尾原　苅山の行倒れ供養塔 Memorial tower for the person who died the way side in Kariyama

昔、加茂川８８ヶ所巡礼霊場を巡礼していた人が ４３番刈山札所に着いた処で 行き倒れました。村人は 巡礼者を悼たんで 地蔵「安政二卯年十二月〇日」を 立て 祀りました。加茂川８８ヶ所巡礼霊場が 刈山前坂に有りましたが、道路拡幅工事に合わせ 現在の刈山札所に 全ての墓石ごと 移転しました。２基の供養塔が「帰りたい」と言うので 元の所に戻しました。落合加茂川線（６６号線）の塚原橋から 刈山に向かうと Ｙ字路となるので 南東（左）に 道なりに進むと 左手に 小さい平坦地が 北緯34度55分15秒・東経133度44分58秒にあり ２基の供養塔と １基の台石が 有ります。

２基は並んで立ち、その内の一基は 石製の厨子に囲まれた 輪塔であり １基は石塔「法林院浄覺妙智 南阿弥陀佛 清鏡妙真體建妙心 延享五辰石井多良兵衛 三月廿四日 同人妻」で、この２基が「帰りたい」の供養塔です。かつて ここに観音堂が 建っておりましたが、現在の寺屋敷に 移されました。元観音堂の南西 尾原前地1427番地の北東 北緯34度55分13秒・東経133度44分59秒に 行き倒れの巡礼者を悼んで祀った 地蔵が 立っています。　A long time ago, a person who had been pilgrimaging to 88 pilgrimage sites in kamogawa died on  the way side at the place where he arrived at the 43rd Kariyama hudasyo “a temple regularly visited by pilgrims”     The villagers mourned over the death of pilgrim and enshrined Dizou-bosatu/bodhisattva for him   The 43rd  hudasyo of 88 pilgrimage sacred sites of Kamoga was in Kariyama-Maezako, but the hudasyo was relocated to the current Kariyan hudasyo at the time of the road widening work together with all the tombstones, but because two graves said that we want to go home, they were returned to the original place     If you go toward Kariyama from Tukabara-basi/bridge on the Otiai-Kamogawa line to the fork road, and go along the way to the southeast “left” to the narrow flat land on your left hand side, you will find the three stone statues and a pedestal  the two statues of the three stand side by side, the one is a ring tower in the hall made with stones, another one is a stone pagoda  They are the two statues that told "we want to go home"   A Kannon-dou/hall was once built here, but it was moved to Tera-yasiki in present day 　The Dizou-bosatu for mourning pilgrims who died on the way side, is enshrined on the Northeast of 1417 Obara-Maeti where is old Kannon-dou 

尾原　ゴンゴ淵の行倒れ供養塔 Memorial tower for the person lying by the roadside near Gongo-buti

６６号線（落合加茂川線）沿いの 下尾原のゴンゴ淵の南 北緯34度54分33秒・東経133度45分19秒近くに立つ、妖怪小豆洗 或いは 妖怪ゴンゴ（河童）の犠牲者、又は 行倒れの供養碑と されますが、それ等と関係ないかも知らません。２尊の仏像が祀られています。　A statue of Buddha is stood on the South of Gongo-buti/pool where is the roadside of Rout 66    It is said that the memorial tower is for victims of Yokai Azuki-arai monster or Gongo “Kappa, river sprite” monster, or for the person lying by the roadside, but I do not know if it has anything to do with that    平成２４年(2012年)８月１５日

加茂市場　須賀の上の四国遍路行倒れ供養塔 Memorial tower for the person died on the way side on the way Sikoku-henro in Suga-no-ue

加茂総社宮から のびのび小学校に向かう途中 加茂市場中須賀1663-5番地の西北西 約９０m 北緯34度51分52秒・東経133度45分37秒に 四国遍路行倒れ供養塔が立ち、南無大師編照金剛 四国遍路等と有ります  If you climb along Takebe-Kamoitiba line from Kamo-soujya/shrine about 180m toward Nobinobi elementary school , you will visit the memorial tower for the person died on the way Sikoku-henro “Shikoku pilgrimage” in Suga-no-ue   The characters of Namu Daisi Hensyou-kongou ”I will devote myself to saint Koubou”、Sikoku-henro etc. are engraved on the surface　　　平成２４年(2012年)４月３０日

加茂市場　須賀の上の大山参りの犠牲者の供養の碑 Memorial monument for the victim on way of  Daisen-mairi

加茂総社から のびのび小学校に向かう道の加茂総社宮の直後の荻坂の途中 加茂市場中須賀1663-5番地の西北西 約１６０m 北43度51分53秒・東経133度45分33秒に 大山参りの犠牲者の供養の碑あります。南無阿弥陀仏と読めます。　If you climb along Takebe-Kamoitiba line from Kamo-soujya/shrine about 150m toward Nobinobi elementary school , you will visit the memorial monument for the victim on the way Daisen-mairi “visiting Daisen in Houki province to pray for rain or to trade cattle or horse ”  in Miya-no-mae    The characters of Namu Amida-butu “I will devote myself to believe the Buddha with bottomless koumyou (symbol of wisdom and mercy) and immeasurable life span” are engraved on the surface   平成２４年(2012年)４月３０日

小森　湯所の行倒れ供養塔 Memorial tower for the person lying by the roadside n Yudokoro

 ４２９号線沿いの湯所の小森小川尻243番地の東 北緯34度55分1秒・東経133度48分9秒に 立つ行倒れの供養碑です。湯所は 円城寺等から 北緯34度56分38秒・東経133度48分48秒の旭川の小森の川戸に 向かう途中の交通の要所でした。　A statue of Dizou-bosatu/bodhisattva was stood on the East side of 243 Komori-Ogawa-siri in Yudokoro where is road side of Rout 429  Yudokoro was a important point of transportation on the way from Enjou-ji/temple etc. to Komori-no-Kawato of Asahi-gawa/river   the statue is the memorial service pagoda for the person lying by the roadside    平成２４年(2012年)８月８日

下加茂 久西の安井堂 Yasui-dou in Kunisi 

下加茂久西1159番地の北 北緯34度51分41秒・東経133度48分46秒 に安井堂が建ちます。嘉永３年（１８５０年）４月２２日「ご注進書」が「上津高郡下加茂の安井に 旅僧の恰好をした行倒れが 有った」として 下加茂名主 台蔵と朝太郎が 認めsitatame 上加茂の大庄屋の泰冶が 奥書き（文書の保証  承認）して 郡奉行 斎木三之丞に 宛て提出されました。安井谷辻堂に 小祠を建て 祀られています。「加茂川町史」「吉備中央町の伝説 歴史伝説 行倒れ」　　平成２４年（２０１２年）１１月１７日

下加茂　明神山の供養塔 Memorial tower in Myoujin-yama

昔加茂の明神山は 銅や水晶や雲母が 採れました。山師が 鉱脈を探しに押しかけて来ました。明神山は 険しいので 屈強な男でさえも 良く遭難しました。とても 貧乏な夫婦が 来年の豊作を願い 大歳を迎えようとした時、家の戸を トントンと叩いて 行倒れ寸前の女が 訪ねて来て、食べ物を求めました。夫婦は 訳を尋ね その女が山師である事に 驚きました。元気の残る男の山師であれば「滅多な事で 当たりもしない宝探し等 トットと止めて まめに働きねぇ やれん」と 叱咤してきたのですが、女子Onagoであれば 看過する訳には行かず、行倒れ寸前の女に 僅かしかない食べ物を 全部与えようとしました。しかし 女は もう食べる力さえ残っていなくて、間もなく 亡くなってしまいました。夫婦は 夜を徹して丁寧に葬り、供養塔を 立ててやりました。「下加茂久西の村のより人口伝」安井谷辻堂：下加茂久西 北緯34度51分41秒・東経133度48分46秒　行倒れ供養碑：下加茂 北緯34度51分25秒・東経133度49分23秒　下加茂明神山南面の墓場の大年の行倒れ供養塔：北緯34度51分23秒・東経133度49分16秒    孔為有縁無煙乃供養塔   安井：下加茂１２９５・１３３９番地等　安井谷：下加茂１２９６・１３１０番地等　久西：１０５９・１２９９番地等　 平成２４年（２０１２年）１１月１７日

杉谷　落合の行倒れ供養 Memorial towers of person dying on the street and 弘法大師像  Koubou-daisi in Otiai

４９号線（高梁旭線）を 新山から 北に進むと落合交叉点（北緯34度56分15秒・東経133度45分33秒）に 出ます。 落合交叉点の近くを 祖保谷川に沿って西に進むと 杉谷シモ田351-1番地の東 約３０m 北緯24度56分18秒・東経133度45分27秒に 2基の行倒れ供養塔が 有ります。 If you go to the north from Niiyama along Takahasi-Asahi line, you will come out to Otiai intersection (Daisen-sama)     If you go to the west from near Otiai intersection along Sohotani-gawa/river, there are two memorial towers for the person dying on the way    平成２４年(2012年)４月１０日

広面 行倒れ供養 Memorial tower of person dying on the street

風神社（広面奥1269番地）の向い 北緯34度49分21秒・東経133度48分36秒に 行倒れの供養塔等 ４基の石碑等が立ち、各々に南無阿弥陀仏 南無大師編照金剛 南無妙法蓮華経 等と刻まれます。 Four stone monuments, etc. including a memorial tower of person dying on the street, were stood on the another side of HUu-jinjya/shrine , and Namu-Amida-butu “I will leave everything to Buddha. I will follow Buddha from the bottom of my heart.”, Namu-Daisi-henjyou-kongou “I will become a believer in Kobo Daishi" and Nan-myouhou-Renge-kyou “I will devote myself to the teachings of the Lotus Sutra" were engraved on each monument 平成24年(2012年)７月５日

上竹　月原深田の野仏 Buddha in Hukada

高梁御津線（３１号線）の正田橋で 宇甘川を渡 り 南に進むと 上竹サ子ソフマヘSanesou-mae 426番地 月の原公会堂の変則五叉路に出るので 東に延びる道に進むと 上竹廣重98番地に出ます。 上竹廣重98番地に隣接する 北東の山道に入り、上竹廣重98番地の北を回るように 谷を回ると 北緯34度51分15秒・東経133度41分22秒にポツンと石碑が立っています。 遭〇道〇・・・の刻字が読み取れるので山道での遭難者を悼んだ供養塔のようです。  平成２９年（２０１７年）１０月２４日

北　小林の題目碑 Monument of Daimoku in Kobayasi

妙本寺の北方 総社賀陽線（５７号線）の東の田の中 北小林前2313-3番地の西側 北緯34度48分43秒・東経133度42分21秒に 題目碑が立ちます。南無妙法蓮華経 天保七申歳  (宗)(勇) 深入冬㳒界 施主 〇村 〇㔫　（栄)〇〇 八村 力（蔵) 十二月十三日」と 刻まれています。かつて 旧道はこの場所にあり、旅の途中の修行僧の行き倒れの供養碑と 伝えられます。　A monument of Daimoku “Nitiren chant” is stood at 34 degrees 48 minutes 43 seconds north latitude and 133 degrees 42 minutes 21 seconds east longitude where is the west of 2313-3 Kita-Kobayasi-mae, the eastern rice field of Soujya-Kayou line and the north of Myouhon-ji/temple     Namu-Myouhou-Renge-kyou “I devote myself to the teachings of the Lotus Sutra”  is engraved in the surface　In the old days, the old road is located in this place, and it is said that the monument is the memorial monument for a training monk who fell dead by the way      平成２７年（２０１５年）９月１０日

北　三門の無縁佛供養塔　Memorial monument for the person who has no living relatives in Sanmon

総社賀陽線（５７号線）の妙本寺前の交差点の西 北三門1451-2番地の隣地 北緯34度48分33秒 ・東経133度42分9秒に無縁仏供養塔が立ちます。A memorial monument of the person who has no living relatives is stood at 34 degrees 48 minutes 33 seconds north latitude ・ 133 degrees 42 minutes and 9 seconds east longitude where is the adjoining land of 1451-2 Kita-Sanmon, and the west of the intersection in front of Myouhon-ji/temple on the Soujya Kayou line   平成２７年（２０１５年）１１月１０日  

竹荘　峠橋ノ元の大日如来碑 Monument of Dainiti-nyorai in Tawa-Hasi-no-moto

豊野小学校から 賀陽有漢線（１５６号線）を 西に進み 下市川を渡った直ぐの交叉点（竹荘橋ノ元３５１７番地の隣地）を 左に曲がった右手 竹荘 大石上3473番地の東 北緯34度52分1秒・東経133度41分31秒に大日如来の石碑と墓石が 立ちます。大日如来の石碑には４個の丸い石が供えてあります。日露戦争の帰国兵が 帰宅中にここで行き倒れました。　If you go toward the west from Toyono-syougakkou/elementary school along Kayou-Ukan line, cross over the Simoiti-gawa/river, and go short distance to the intersection of close proximity of 3517 Takesyou-Hasi-no-moto, turn to the left, and go about 30m, you will find a monument of Dainiti-nyorai/tathagata and a tombstone on the right hand side 　A returning soldier from the Russo-Japanese War collapsed and dying in here road while returning home    平成２５年（２０13年）６月２４日

竹荘　才尾の無縁仏塔 Tower of neglected spirit in Saio

豊野小学校の北西３００m程で 賀陽有漢線（１５６号線）が 下市川を 渡り切った処の十字路から 北に向い ２００m程進むと 道は Ω形に大きく曲がります。曲がり始めの所に 北に向う分岐が 有ります。賀陽有漢線と その分岐で造られる角 竹荘才尾ソ子3980番地の北 竹荘才尾4048番位の南 北緯34度52分16秒・東経133度41分1秒に 墓場があります。墓場の最前に 無縁仏塔が 立っています。「無縁仏塔 岩村婦人部」と 刻まれています。行倒れの人の供養塔 或いは 墓でしょうが 確認していません。  令和5年（２０２３年）２月７日

田土　池の原の供養石碑 Stone Memorial Monument　in Ike-no-hara

高梁御津線（３１号線）の下田土の田土下保木2677-1番地から  川東集落に向かって 下田土椿線を 登ると  田土池ノ原2261番地と 川東観音堂の中間辺りの交差点北緯34度51分56秒・東経133度44分0秒に 供養塔石碑と 地神碑が 祀られています。供養石碑は 大山道を 行く者の行倒れを 悼んだとされます「南無阿弥陀佛 享保寅年二月吉日（1734年）と 記されています。地元の人達は クニヨシ（供養石）と 呼んでいます。  If you climb along the Tado-Tubaki line toward Kawatou community from 2677-1 Tado-Simo-tado-Hogi where is the roadside of Takahasi-Mitu line, you will find a Memoriai monument and a statue of Dizou-bosatu/bodhisattva enshrined on the corner of the intersection around the  middle point between 2261 Tado-Ike-no-hara and Kawatou-Kannon-dou/hall     It is said that the memorial monument was stood to mourn and hold a memorial service for a person who collapsed and dead by the roads　 It is engraved 「Kyouhou-Tora-dosi February Lucky day (1734)」 The villagers call it Kuniyosi (供養石an accent of Kuyou-Isi)　　　　平成２９年（２０１７年）９月９日

豊野　長手大池の供養塔 Memorial　monument near Nagate-Oo-ike

供養塔の立つ位置は 下市集落の北東に当たります。東豊野神社の南の道を 西に進み 長手大池の手前 豊野塚原476番地の北の岸の上 北緯34度52分12秒･東経 133度41分51秒に ２尊の仏が 祀られています。その一基には  阿弥陀如来の梵字と南無阿彌陀佛と 刻まれています。もう一基も 阿彌陀如来像です。大山寺参りの帰りの途中で 男が ここで行倒れたそうです。  If you go toward the west from the northern road of Higasi-toyono-jinjya/shrine to  the front of Nagate-oo-ike/pond where is the north of 476 Toyono-Tukabara, a memorial monument and a statue of Buddha are enshrined on the bank at 34 degrees 52 minutes 12 seconds north latitude and 133 degrees 41 minutes 53 seconds east longitude    One of them is engraved  a Sanskrit character of Amida-nyorai/tathagata and characters of  Namu-Amida-butu “Hail Amitabha Buddha: I will devote my time to Amida Buddha with immeasurable koumyou (light from the mind and body of the bodhisattva,:symbol of mercy or wisdom) and  immeasurable life span"  Another is the statue of Amida-nyorai too       平成２５年（２０13年）６月２２日 

豊野　蜂谷の行倒れ供養塔 Tower for the repose of the person who collapsed and dead in the street

賀陽有漢線（１５６号線）が 豊野公民館の南東９０m付近の 高梁御津線(３１号線)から 分岐します。その交叉点から 東に２５m程進むと、北側を流れる宇甘川の北岸 北緯34度51分44秒・東経133度41分4５秒に 地藏菩薩が 祀られています。昔、旅をしていた人が 街道で行倒れ 川に嵌まり死亡したので 村人が悼み、地蔵菩薩を立て供養したそうです。　Kayou-Ukzan line “Rout156” branches from Takahasi-Mitu line “Route 31” at the place about 90m southeast of Toyono-Kouminkan/public hall 　If you go about 25m to the east from the crossing point, you will find a stone statue of standing Dizou-bosatu/bodhisattva on the north shore of Ukai-gawa/river which is flowing at the north of Route 31 　It is said that because a long time ago, a person who was traveling collapsed on the main road and fell into the river and sunk in a Ukai-gawa and died, the villagers mourned him, set up the statue of Dizou-bosatu and offered a memorial service for his death

吉川　引地の御崎神社 Misaki-jinjya in Hikiti

西庄田公会堂・西庄田生活センターの南の吉川橋ノ元3527番地の東側の山道を 北に登り 吉川3527番地を回り込むように 西に曲がると 吉川橋ノ元3527番地と吉川屋敷3522番地の間の北側の茂みの中に 御崎神社が建ちます。社は 完全に破壊されています。西の小丘（鼻）の脇に 石組みの祠が有ります。大正の頃か 昭和の初め頃 旅の者が疲労困憊hirou-konpaiし、空腹に耐えられなくなって 西庄田に辿り着きました。旅人は 家々を尋ねて物乞いをしましたが、髪や髭は伸び放題 衣服は汚物で汚れ 余りの異様さと不潔さの故に食べ物を与える者もなく、一夜の宿を貸す者もいませんでした。その者が 行き倒れましたが、屍sikabaneは 乱暴に裏山に埋めました。処がその年 周囲の集落は豊作でしたが、西庄田は 何故nazeか 水不足し 虫の害で 大変な凶作となりました。翌年は 洪水が起こり 又もや不作となり 病が流行りhayari 特段の危険も無い寺子屋の脇の小川に 子供が嵌りhamari)死にました。村人は「あの旅人は、ぼっこう粗末に扱われたので 成仏できずに、祟って飢えの苦しみ 不健康の悲しみ 死の恐怖をわし等に教えようとしている  ならば供養してやらないといけない」と 話し合って、御崎神社を建て 燈明し御祓いをすると、西庄田に 平和が戻ったそうです。「村人口伝」　近在の村に残る異説には  この旅人は いずれかの山奥に住み付き、村々の作物を荒し 窃盗を繰り返したため、困った村人が 西庄田の人と相談し 御崎神社を建て豊富な作物を供えると、栗等の山の幸が 返礼され  悪行が収まったとされます。「村人口伝」    西庄田公会堂：北緯34度49分25・東経133度45分045分0秒    引地御崎神社：北緯34度49分24秒・東経133度45分0秒    屋敷：吉川３５１９・３５３６番地等　橋ノ元：吉川３５２３・３５３５番地等    神主：吉川３５３９・３６０６番地等　西庄田：３５５７番地    神主乢：吉川３５８２番地　山ノ神：吉川３５８３・３６２３番地等     平成２６年（２０１４年）８月８日
