野路山城は 人桝城とも呼ばれます。上竹陰地onji徳本4752番地の北東の野路山の山頂 (標高約４３０m 高さ約６０m) 北緯34度50分17秒・東経133度40分34秒付近が「野路山城跡」です。西北西 約　１７００ｍの山に矢倉城跡が、南東 約 １８００mに 離小屋城跡があります。 野路山城には 方形の土塁が 廻っていて 南辺の土塁は  少しばかり歪んでおり 南西部が 途切れています。城域の大きさは 東西約３０m×南北約２５mで、桝Masu（人桝Hotomasu）と 呼ばれています。 矢倉城の砦であるらしく、城主は 竹井宗左衛門尉直定です。直定は 元 川上郡黒忠村の出身で、庄高資を討つと 成羽の三村家親の家臣と なりました。言葉巧みで 交渉事の長けた人物です。離小屋城主 大槻信繁は 後に竹井直定の被官となります。 故に 竹井直定は 三村氏の郎党と言えます。 天正２年（１５７４年）１２月の備中兵乱の折り、毛利軍が 矢倉城を攻撃した時 離小屋城に逃げました。この時 息女である緑姫が 山神にあった能引寺で 自害したと言われます。其の後 直定は 松山城に入りました。天正３年（1475年）５月に 三村氏を 裏切り毛利方に与し、諸将を誘い 松山城攻略に功を上げました。

The another name for Nojiyama-jyou/castle  is Hitomasu-jyou　 The ruins of Nojiyama-jyou is on the top of Noji-yama/mountain where is northeastern mountain of 4752   Kamitake-Onji-Tokumoto    The flat land “main enclosure” of the mountain-top is a square which have an area of 200 stepds×200steps where is called Masu 　The flat land is surrounded by earthworks    It seems that this castle is a fort of Yagura-jyou, the lord of Nojiyama-jyou was Naosada sou-zaemon-no-jyou-Takei    Naosada came from Kurotada-mura/ village in Kawakami-gun/county    He became retainer of Ietika Mimura because he killed Takasuke Syou    Nobusige Ootuki who was lord of Hanare-goya-jyou, became a hikan “servant of a higher ranking person during the middle ages” of Naosada    At  Bittyuu-heiran/battle in 1574, when Mouri army attacked Yagura-jyou,  Naosada Takei fled to Hanare-goya-jyou , and he entered into Matuyama-jyou  there after   In May 1475, he betrayed Mimura clan and took to Mori-side, he  invited various generals to make a success in capturing Matsuyama-jyou Castle, and he rendered distinguished service    Please refer for 矢倉城 and 松山城戦　

高梁御津線（３１号線）の正力交叉点を 納地方向に東に進むと 竹荘８８ヶ所霊場第５８番奥の院聖観音菩薩堂が左手に建っていて、その前は 三山公園駐車場となっています。堂の右側の山道を進むと 城地に出、右写真の入城口に 出ます。左手奥に 村人の手造りの三山公園があり、その奥側 右方に 土塁が有ります。その奥の右手に 小祠が有り、その祠の更 に右手奥に 小さい平坦地が有ります。堀切や 大規模の障壁や 犬走り等なく、戦国時代の山城の形態には 程遠い遺構です。 If you go toward the east from the Syouriki intersection on route 31 to the Nouti, there are Kannon-bosatu-dou/hall of 58th hudasyo-Oku-no-in “the inner shrine of 58th pilgrimage site/temple” of the 88 Takesyou sacred sites pilgrimage on your left, and Miyama park parking lot on the front of it    If you go along the mountain path on the right side of the hall, you will reach to the ruins of the castle entrance    The ruins of the castle was made Miyama-park by the villager's hand-made in the back of the left hand, and there is an cray wall on the right side of the back　A small shrine was enshrined on the right hand in the back    there is a small flat land in the right back of the small shrine    Because there are no dry moat, no large barriers of cray wall , berm “belt-shaped enclosure” etc. it is a remains far from the form of mountain castle in the warring states period   人桝：兵を集結させ、兵力の概数を把握したとされるのでこの名を残しました。　水カメ屋敷：上竹４４２３番地　ショウブ峠：上竹４４９８－４５０１番地　三山：上竹４４８１・４７２１（北緯34度50分20秒・東経133度40分30秒）・４７７９番地等　ハナタヲ兵衛屋敷：上竹４５４６番地　　平成２４年（２０１２年）４月３日

上竹徳本4752番地から 野路山後公園の駐車場を過ぎ 道なりに 南東に１２０m程進んだ所 （カーブのほぼ中央）の北 約７０mの山頂部 北緯34度50分14秒・東経133度40分41秒 が陰地城跡です。西方に １８０ｍ下った尾根上に 野路山城跡が位置します。南北約３８ ｍ×東西 約３３ ｍの長方形の単郭城館跡で、各辺に 土塁が巡らされていますが、土塁の東辺と 西辺の各々の中央付近は 途切れています。東辺と 南辺土塁の外側には 横堀があります。南辺の横堀の西端部は  土橋状に 堰き止められています。土橋状遺構の 正面の土塁は やや低くなっています。野路山城に近いので 野路山城の出城と考えます。　平成２４年（２０１２年）４月３日
