上光寺に住む古老のお話に従い、新青木橋で 豊岡川を渡り 川に沿って進み、急な山をしばらく上ると 高台の手前に墓場があります。高台に登ってみると 平坦地の約半分が切り取られおり、切り取られた所が 墓場になっています。北側の平坦部に 地図上では 金比毘羅神社と記されていますが、実際には 丸支天宮・稲荷神社 丸支天宮 稲荷神社の３社が祀られています。このような簡素な 構造を持つ山城は 各地に多数あるそうです。「岡山県加賀郡吉備中央町のお城一覧（城郭放浪記）」等では 面城と紹介していますが、面城は 下大木にあります。何時頃の城であるか 誰が城主だか示された資料が有りませんが、昭和初期迄は 地図上の金比羅神社の敷地に 城らしい建物の跡があったと言います「www.hb.pei.jp/shiro/okayama/?c=kibichuo」。　郷田城の親城と思われる常江田城を 郷田城と証言する者も居りました。藤陽伝・伊賀氏一族と虎倉城記虎倉城麾下にあったであろう城 (9)に示される地図では 常江田城の位置に郷田城と記され、面城の位置に 江田城と記されています。郷田 或いは 合田と言う地名は この近くな無く、常江田城の近くに 合田の地名があります「kibi2011.blog81.fc2.com/blog-category-6.html」。そうであると 江田城 面城 郷田城は 常江田城の支城で、4つの城は互いに共通の名前で呼ばれていたのでしょう。 The ruins of Gouda-jyou/casrle are located on the southeastern mountain of 666 Oogi-Minokuti-sita　Go along the river after crossing Sinaoki-basi/bridge which cross over Toyooka-gawa/river and go up along sharp mountain path for some time “about 180m”, thereupon you can reach a graveyard on front of a height     Half of the small flat land on the height is cut off , the cutting area become a graveyard     A Marusi-ten-guu/shrine・Inari-jinjya/shrine and a Marisi-ten-guu & a Inari-jinjya are enshrined on the north side of the flat land    It is said that there are simple castles as this in various places   This castle is written in 「岡山県加賀郡吉備中央町のお城一覧（城郭放浪記） etc. as Men-jiro/castle , but Men-jiro is in Simo-Oogi   A building which seem a castle building, was on this place by early Showa era    The place of Tune-Eda-jyou “the parent castle probably” is pointed at Gouda-jyo and Eda-jyou is pointed at Men-jiro on the map of 「藤陽伝・伊賀氏一族と虎倉城記」    The land name of Gouda is not the nearby of  this area , Gouda”合田”’s land name are near of Tune-Eda-jyou    If these descriptions is correct, Men-jiro, Gouda-jyou  and Eda-jyou are branch castles of Tune-Eda-jyou, and these four castles are called  the same name mutually    常江田城：舟掘下５７６番地の東 北緯34度54分59秒・東経133度47分2秒    面城：下大木１１２９番地付近 北緯34度54分51秒・東経133度47分9秒    江田城：豊岡下５７５番地の西南 北緯34度54分60秒・東経133度46分40秒    合田：豊岡下６９１・３１５７番地等　城ノ乢：豊岡下７２８番地　    平成２３年（２０１１年）７月１２日
