苅山城は新山城の出城で、狩山城・刈山城と書く事があります。北緯34度55分8秒・東経133度45分4秒付近が重岡神社であり「苅山城跡」ですが、実質的な城地は 標高２８０m  麓から４０mの高さに有る大屋敷で  北緯34度55分12秒・東経133度44分50秒付近です。重岡神社の北西 尾原前地1427番地の裏の山を 大屋敷 又は 寺屋敷と言われ、現在は耕作放棄地になっていますが、その半分程は 城地跡ｈで 一段 低い平坦地になっており 畾址Toride-ato/Raisとして保存され 土塁跡・塁址の一部が残っています。Ruins of Kariyama-jyou/castle which was a branch castle of Niiyama-jyou, is located on Sigeoka-yama/hill where Sigeoka-jinjya/shrine is built, but the main site of the castle is located on Ooyasiki　The mountain at the back of 1427 Obara-Maeti is called Ooyasiki or Terayasiki　But it has been the abandoned cultivation-land now, the half of it remains as a castle area where is a flat ground on one step lower, namely it has been saved as Raisi “site of the demolished fort” and a part of Ruisi ”mount” is remained

寺屋敷（大屋敷）は 重岡神社の北西の山で、太鼓丸が建っていたと言います。 西側は 馬乗り場と言われ 馬場でした。 Terayasiki is located on the mountain at the northeast of Sigeoka-jinjya　It is said that Taiko-maru “drumcastle bilding” was built in there and the west site of it was called ùma-noriba "riding ground "

寺屋敷の開拓時、銅製の１．８寸の観音菩薩像が 発掘されました。この観音像は 掘り出し観音と 呼ばれています。この掘り出し観音様には 子宝のご利益が有り、子宝に恵まれないご婦人の信仰を集めていると言われます。平成２８年５月１０日の時点で、８名の不妊に悩むご婦人が参詣し、７名の方が 子宝に恵まれたそうです。 子供の欲しい御夫婦は、この付近の人に訪ね、この観音様を訪れると良いでしょう。  It is said that「A copper statue of Kannnon-bosatu “Avalokiteshvara” in size 1.8sun “about 5.5cm” dug out during the reclamation of Tera-yasiki, the buddha is called Horidasi-Kannon “Avalokiteshvara dug out” who was believing to be responsive to prayers for conception, and infertile ladies    At the time of May 10th, 2016,  eight ladies with worry about sterility, visited to the Kannon-bosatu, and seven ladies were blessed with good children」　The couples wanted children should visit the Kannon-bosatu
