小森温泉の裏山に続く小森木舩400番地の北の標高約２５０m　高さ約１００mの山 北緯34度55分16秒・東経133度48分23秒付近が「小森古城跡」で、堀を残します。頂上には 狭い平坦地があり、田中家（育麦倉［せみくら］の隣地）の護る 皇霊碑が立っています。小森温泉近くの田中家（育麦倉前の田中家と親戚）の庭には、池田厚子様ご夫婦の植樹が 大切に育てられています。百坂城と同様の役目を担う 城・即ち小森から江与味を通り 美作に向かう要衝に有ります。小森城は 伊賀修理亮が築城し、後に 百坂城主の菱川右京亮勝之の二男・与九郎に預けました。菱川与兵衛は 与九郎の兄で  虎倉城主伊賀氏配下の侍であり、百坂城の城主です。「小森村の東西の山の峰を開き 兄弟で立ち別れ 居住した」とされます。直ぐ西には 小森城跡 三谷城跡があります。上加茂合戦の頃の城主は 恐らく 菱川与兵衛（与四郎と同一人物でしょうか）　The ruins of Komori-Ko-jiro/older castle are located on the northern mountain of 400 Komori-Kihune   There is a trace of the moat   There is a narrow flatland at the top, Kourei-hi “monument of the Imperial Spirit” which Tanaka family “the neighboring land of Semi-kura/warehouse” has been managed   The tree which was planted by Takamasa Ikeda and Atuko Ikeda who are the 16th lord of the former Okayama Domain of the Marquis Ikeda family and Showa’s and former Yorinomiya-Atuko-naisinnou “the fourth princess of Emperor Showa and Empress Kōjun/the wife of Takamasa”, in the garden of Tanaka family who are relatives of the Tanaka family front of Semi-kura and are the owner of Komori-onsen-ryokan/hotel and live near Komori-onsen-ryokan , was took care with great care　The lord of the castle at Kamigamo-gassen/battle  was Yohei Hisikawa " the same person as Yosirou?" probably 　This castle serves like Mozako-jyou  castle where was a point of strategic importance from Komori via Eyomi to Mimasaka against Motoharu Kikkawa   Komori-ko-jiro/older castle in Komori is a castle that serves the same role as Mouzako-jyou/castle, namely・the Komori-ko-jiro is located at a strategic point from Komori to Misaku, passing through Eyomi   Komori-jyou was built by Iga Syuuri-no-suke, he later entrusted Komori Castle to Yokuro who is the second son of Hisikawa-Ukypou-no-suke-Katuyuki who was the lord of Mouzako-jyou　 Yohei Hisikawa who was elder brother of Yokurou Hisikawa was a samurai   ”warrior”  under Iga clan and was the lord of Mozako-jyou     It is said that the brothers opened  eastern and western peaks of the mountains in Komori  and lived respectively     Ruins of Komori-jyou and ruins of Mitani-jyou are located  in the immediate vicinity of this castle    小森温泉：岡山藩池田氏の隠し湯 北緯 34度54分57秒・東経133度48分10 秒    池田厚子・順宮厚子内親王：昭和天皇の第四皇女で、池田隆政氏の夫人    伊賀修理亮：伊賀久隆の祖父とする説がありますが、伊賀兵庫頭行隆（久隆の祖父）の弟で 小森城を築きました　菱川右京亮勝之：伊賀河内守頼氏が 地頭として豊岡上常光寺に赴任して来て以来の最古参の 虎倉城の重臣 で 百坂城の城主です　菱川与九郎：菱川右京亮勝行の二男で、小森城城主です 父や兄の百坂城城主 菱川与兵衛 に引けを取らない勇士でした  城山上：小森1８・４３番地等　次郎畑：小森１９・３６番地等　城山下・城山下タ：小森２８・５１番地等　森清：小森５６・５７番地　　古城：小森４０６番地　　平成２３年（２０１１年）５月５日
