美原 山之田城 Yamanoda-jyou
美原集落センターの前の細い「井場橋」を渡り 左に廻ると、直ぐに 右に入る山道があるので １2０ｍ程 進むとＴ字路となり そこから 崖に沿って 右に１２０ｍ程 進むと 三叉路になります。城山から遠のく方向に 即ち 南に１２０ｍ程 進むと 突き当たりに出ます。右に折れると ６０ｍ程で 細い山道となり 西に尾根に沿って山道が 続くので １２０ｍ程 登るとＴ字路になります。右に折れた後に 北に９０ｍ程 進むと 頂上に着き 平坦地が現れます。平坦地を 超えて だらだらと続く尾根を進むと 名もない兵士の墓らしき石組みが 散乱していますが、殆どは 破壊されています。頂上から 南南東に 急坂を登っても 城跡の遺構らしき物は 有りません。左手の頂上の なだらかに傾斜した 平坦地然とした地は 福山城や 十力城への狼煙Norosi台として 好都合な場所です。さらに 南に 山道が続き ７２０ｍ程 進むと 十力城跡（木野山神社）の近くに出ます。言い換えると 美原の谷に 半島状に 北西に突き出た尾根に向かい 美原野原534番地付近の河内橋を渡り そのまま頂上に向かい １５０ｍ程登ると 頂上に着きます。その途中の 尾根の端辺りに ２枚の平坦地が有り、下の平坦地の脇に ２個の自然のが 墓然として立てられています。この山から 野原地区の見通しは良く 街道の往来を見張るのに 最適ですが、堅固な山城ではありません。 The ruins of Yamanoda-jyou/castle are located on Ｎ34・52・14 Ｅ133・46・34 in Mihara-Yama-no-da The lord was Yosikatu Satake during Genki period and Yosiaki Gen-jyuurou Hina during the age of civil wars Gen-jyuurou Hina who lived in Nariwa and followed Mimura clan, was a descendant of Satake clan of the Minamoto clan ”Seiwa-genji” and his wife was a daughter of Sinzan clan “Niiyama clan” He immigrated to Mihara and lived in Yamanoda-jyou after his distinguished service as a Mouri clan’s commander in Matuyama-jyou-sen/war in 1575 “tennshou 3nen ” Cross Kawati-basi/bridge at near 534 Mihara-Nohara toward the ridge of Yamanoda-yama/mountain which is jutting out into the stream valley in Mihara and go up about 150m toward the top of mountain, you will reach the top of site of the castle The point is suited to look over Mihara area, to look over coming and goings of Takahasi-Mitu-sen/ line,.to light a signal fire to Jyuuriki-jyou & Hukuyama-jyou and to inform in advance that the enemy was marching toward the castles But it is not suitable for offense and defense in geographical features 日名源十郎義秋：山之田城の城主以外の情報が 見付けられませんでした。日名姓の人は美原 に多く住みます。東山：美原３.２９番地形等 形山：美原５２・２１２番地等 井場橋：北緯３４度５２分１８秒・東経１３３度４６分２８秒 美原野原５３４番地：北緯３４度５２分１８秒・東経１３３度４６分２７秒 平成２３年（２０１１年）７月１２日
