定光寺城の別名は 大鶴山城 で、大木城もこの城と思われます。豊岡上別曽ノ下６６９番地の西の山 北緯34度54分6秒・東経133度45分38秒付近に「常光寺城跡」が有りました。平成２７年（2015年）に登った時には 整地され城跡は 完全に破壊されていました。 落合加茂川線（６６号線）と豊岡上小森線（３７１号線）の交差点（亀山八幡宮）を 尾原に向い 豊岡川が ６６号に迫る辺りで 折り返すように登る 道の左手を見ながら進むと 平坦地が続きます。その辺りが定光寺城跡でした。何段にも分かれた 作平地 の他に土塁らしき物 炭焼き釜後の穴の３倍はあろうかと思う穴がありました。

上光寺の古老は「ここに昭和初期まで 古びた城の跡が 残っていて 悪友と戦争ごっこをして遊んだものだ。頂上付近に 墓があり、あちこちに 穴が掘ってあった。北側に 国民学校が有った。」等と 聞かせてくれました。探索すると 確かに墓場があり、上より二段目の平坦地の境付近に 人が一人入り 弓を構えられる程の 穴の跡が 規則正しく弧状に ２０穴程ありました。穴の多くは 堆積物で埋まりますが、窪みに立つと 穴の跡は柔らかく その深さの程が解かります。この穴に兵士を 潜ませ（土遁術）、敵対者を 饗宴等と装い 城に誘い込めば 敵兵を容易に悟られずして包囲できたのでしょう。食料等の貯蔵庫であったかも知れません。伝説に 上光寺合戦があります。 伊賀久隆の家老、河原六郎右衛門直次は 有能な兵法者であったため、出世争いをする者達には 目の上のたんこぶの疎ましい存在でした。

そこで、河原六郎右衛門が 毛利方のスパイであると 伊賀久隆に嘘の報告をした者がいました。伊賀久隆は 驚き「振る舞い事があるので 定光寺（寺か城かは解りません）に出向いてくるように」と 河原六右衛門に伝え、河田七郎に接待させました。そこで油断した河原六郎左衛門主従２０数人を殺しました。[村人口伝 ]    「二十七人・南無阿弥陀佛」の碑が豊岡上上中須賀２９０秒・東経133度45分51秒の豊岡地区農村公園内に立ちます。常光寺合戦の折りの犠牲者の供養塔を 後世の人が立てたのでしょう。

常光寺境内に 五体（地 水 火 風 空）の五輪塔があったとされ、その北に上人墓がありました。圃場整備の時 崩されましたが 墓標下に遺骨の納められた瓶があったため 埋め戻し残されました。上人墓に関する伝説によると「鎌倉右大将の源頼朝の伯父が、諸国で修行しこの地を 寂静安楽Jyakujyuou-anrakuな霊地であると讃え、青山にしたいと住み付いた。」とされ、石塔が ２基あり「頼朝の姉が 源頼朝の伯父殉死しの伴い 殉死し 上人墓脇に埋葬された」とされます。石塔の銘は 元禄十四年○四月二十四日とありますので、常光寺が 失われた折りに 後の者が立てたのでしょう。伊賀氏は 藤氏（藤原家）で、鎌倉幕府将軍 ”源家”と親戚関係にあります。長田荘の伊賀氏の鼻祖である 伊賀頼氏の名は 頼朝に似ているので、このような伝説がもたらされたのであれば、上人墓は伊賀頼氏の墓であるかもしれません。右上の写真は 上光寺の古老の所有する 航空写真にあった ありし日の上人墓です。　Another name of Jyoukouji-jyou/castle is Daikakusan-jyou, and I think that Oogi-jyou is also this castle    The ruins of Jyoukouji-jyou was located on the western mountain of 669 Toyooka-kami-Bessyo-no-simo    When I climbed in 2015, they were leveled with bulldozer and had been completely flat   Go toward Obara, from the intersection of Rout.66 and Rout.371 (Kameyama Hatiman-guu/shrine), you will reach the point where Toyooka-gawa/riveris approaching Rout. 66    There is a way to climb in a fold in right side    If you climb along the way looking at the left hand side some number of flat lands continued    That area was the ruins of Jyoukouji-jyou    There were artificial flat land divided into many stages, structures like a clay wall and a hole which was large three times as much as a charcoal kiln    A old man living in Jyoukouji told me that 「there was a aged building seemed a castle until around the early Syouwa era, and I arranged playing soldiers by friends     A graveyard are on the top and holes dug on here and there    The north side was Kokumin-gakkou/school “elementary school in an educational system operated in Japan between 1941 and 1947”, and so on 」    I made an investigation into the places in according to the old man , the graveyard is located indeed at the point    The size of traces of holes which are on the edge of the second higher flat land in such a way as to encloses orderly with arc-shaped, is enough to draw a bow to its full extent by a soldier who got in the hole    But the many parts of holes are covered with sediments, when I stand on the spot of sediments, felt spongy soft and I can feel the existence   If the soldiers lurked in these holes and the unpleasant persons were invited in the party by reason for meritorious deeds of them, the soldiers could surround them on banquet seats without being notice easily    Tradition of Jyoukouji-gassen/battle are in Kibityuuou-tyou    Because Naotugu（or Naotugi or Naohisa） Rokurou-uemon Kawara who was a chief retainer of Hisataka Iga was too excellent strategist, so he was a me-no--ue-no-tankobu ”swelling of upper side of eyes , a person standing in one's way “ for the rivals of promotion    Somebody sent false report to Hisataka Iga that Rokurou-uemon Kawara was a spy of Mouri clan    Hisataka took alarm, and he told Kawara that come to Jyoukouji by reason of Hurumai-goto “a banquet in reward for you”  for his contribution, and he made Hitirou Kawada entertained Kawara    And then about two dozen peoples belong Kawara clan were killed by a surprise attack    The monument of 二十七人・南無阿弥陀佛 "27 peoples, Namu-Amida-butu" stands in the Toyooka district rural park at  34 degrees53 minutes 58seconds north latitude and133 degrees 45minutes 51 seconds east longitude where  is the adjacent land of 290 Kami-nakasuga Toyooka-kami    It is likely that the persons of the posterity set up the memorial tower for the victim at the time of the Jyoukouji-gassen/battle    It is written in「藤陽伝藤陽伝・伊賀氏一族と虎倉城記・伊賀氏概要・the outline of Iga clan」 that Yoriuji Kawati-no-kami Iga “the 18th head of Iga clan” who was given 御教書 ”migyousyo・a document written at a general.'s bidding etc.” of the territory with forty-five thousand goku “a consumption volume of rice for about 45000 persons during a year” by Yosimoti Asikaga who was 4th. general in Muromachi-shogunate, he became the lord of a manor of Osada “Osada-no-syou”, he built a residences in Toyooka-kami , and he built a fort on Daikaku-san/mountain    Ise-no-kami Iga “the 20th head of Iga clan” who built Kokura-jyou and live in from 1420    Hyougo-no-kami Iga “the 20th head of Iga clan” who could hold Osada-no-syou stably in the beginning of the age of civil provincial wars and laid the foundations of subsequent prosperity of Iga clan    Hisataka saemon-no-jyou Iga " the 21th head of Iga clan” could get many commanders who were Kiukoudai “the attitude and the conception, etc. are extraordinary and great ：magnanimous” and had the good leadership and the excellent resourcefulness and the bravery, he used firearms efficiently without delay, had been fought fight with overwhelming, and made the name of Kokura-jyou know widely to the public 　The Joukouj-jyou-zan/mountain and the hill with Toyooka-tiku-nouson-kouen ”Toyooka district rural park“ are combined to be called Kame-yama “turtle mountain”    Some people call Jokoji-jyou-zan Hourai-san “enchanted land of perpetual youth-mountain” or Shintou-zan “Japanese gods and goddesses-mountain”    At the foot of the mountain, there was Daikakusan-Jyoukou-ji/temple    There is a square land where the owner have been unknown, and there is still a stone which seems to be part of the gorin-tou “a gravestone composed of five pieces piled  upon another"    Once, there was a Daishi-do/hall called Yottu-do “hall with four posts that used to support the roof ” on this side    There were five Gorin-tous (ground, water, fire, wind and sky) in the precincts of Jokou-ji, and there was a Syounin-baka ”tomb of saint bonze” to the north side    It was destroyed at the time of the field maintenance, but because there was two cinerary urns which cremated ashes were in, they were reburied    According to legends about the Syounin-baka, 「A uncle of Minamoto-no-Yoritomo who was the first Syougun of Kamakura shogunate, trained in the many countries, and came here, he praised that this place were calmness of the heart and comfort to live, he determined this place made Seizan “the land to live until die” and he settled in this place」   There are two stone towers, and it is said that one of it is Yoritomo's sister's tomb who took her own life after the death of the uncle of Yoritomo and was buried beside Syounin-baka    Because the inscription ”carved character string” of the stone tower is the 24th of April in the 14th year of Genroku, after Jyoukou-ji was abandoned, the persons in the future set up the tombs    Iga clan belong to Tou-si "Fujiwara clan" and has a relative relationship with the Kamakura Shogunate ”Genji” through Iga-no-kata “the second- wife of Yositoki houjyou who was 2nd.
