つまり 豊岡川が東から北東へ屈曲する（焼谷川との合流点）南西の岸の標高約 270 ｍの山の頂上です。山の高さは 凡そ １００ ｍで、南北 と西のを見張らせます。城域は 東西 凡そ７０ ｍ×南北 凡そ６０ ｍで　頂部北寄りに 凡そ２０ ｍ× 凡そ１５ ｍの主郭である曲 輪があります。この曲輪の切岸は急峻です。曲輪の北斜面には 犬走りがあり 南東端の腰曲輪に繋がります。 城地の南半の曲輪の工作は 手緩さを感じさせ 南東へゆっくりと傾斜し下ります。 南端にに 虎口とその両脇に 低い土塁があります。西側の土塁は くの字型に 曲がっています。その東下段に 腰曲輪が  あります。この城は 伊賀修理が築きました。城郭の２段の平坦地は 高い作壁の上にあり、腹切り岩なる大岩が 下の平坦地の中央の小森川側 数ｍ下にあり、腹切り岩側の頂上の下の平坦地の端に 切腹し 畳と共に小森川に 滑り落ちた武将・八幡一郎Hatiman-Tarou（城主伊賀修理の部下）の墓の祠があります。腹を切った理由は 不明ですが 恐らく上加茂合戦のおりの 無血開城に抗議したのでしょう。 城主は 伊賀修理 菱川与九郎です。上加茂合戦時の城主は 伊賀修理です。The ruins of Komori-jyou/castle are located on Kiyomori-yama/mountain where is west of 78 KomoriYudokoro    This castle was built by Syuuri-no-suke Iga   Two flat lands consisted upper of high artificial wall    Large rock named Harakiri-iwa “rock of ritual suicide by disembowelment” are under few meter from the under-flatland’s center of Komori-gawa river side and the grave-small shrine of Tarou Hatiman who was a military commander of Syuuri's subordinate and he slipped down together the mat to Komori-gawa/liver after his Harakiri "cut open the abdomen" ,  are on the end of flatland of Harakiri-iwa side    The reason of Hatiman’s harakiri is uncertain, it was likely an exception against the bloodless surrender of this castle in Kamigamo-gassen battle fought between Iga clan and Mouri clan    The lords of this castle were  Iga Syuuri and Yokurou Hisikawa     The lord was Syuuri Iga at Kamigamo-gassen

加茂川町史等には「腹切り岩は小森三信1507番地付近の八幡淵の道側の岸に有るとされ、八幡が 山から畳に乗って滑り下りて この岩に座り、豊岡川の川中で切腹した」と記載しています。しかし この岩は 室戸台風の時 川下に移動した程の小さい岩ですので、伝説の大岩とは思えません。「八幡は 山頂近くの大岩で 切腹し 山肌を滑るように 小森三信1895番地の豊岡川対岸の山の麓に 転げ落ちた。村人達は 八幡の死を不憫に思い、そこに 仮の八幡の墓を立て 後 に 腹切り岩の近くに 葬り直し 石で小祠を造り祀った。この時の戦いで 武将が馬に乗り 大岩に躓き 落馬し 馬ごと討ち取られたとされる。その岩が 小森温泉旅館前の駐車場の奥に 斜めに刺さるように 半分埋もれている。この時とは異なるが　八幡淵で小競り合いが有って、数人が死亡した」と伊賀加茂十三流の末裔の小林氏は語りました。

 別の村人は「八幡は山上の八幡一郎の墓の豊岡川寄りの 山頂よりやや下の腹切り岩（上部が平坦な巨岩）の上で 切腹 した後、ふら付いたため 橇状に加工した畳ごと 山肌を滑り落ちた。」と言いました。登場人物から推測し、また 敵陣前でなく 城内で八幡一郎は 切腹しているので、天正８年（1580年）の上加茂合戦の折り 伊賀久隆の「全小城を放棄し 民も兵も虎倉に集結せよ」との命令に不服で 徹底抗戦を主張した 抗議の切腹だったのでしょう。 According to Kamogawa-tyou-si “History of Kamogawa town” etc, Harakiri-iwa “the rock for cutting open himself abdomen” etc. is located on the riverside of the side of the road at Hatiman-buti/pool near 1507 Komori-Mitunobu , Hachiman  slid down from the mountain on the tatami mat, sat on this rock, he cut open his abdomen with his sword in the Toyooka-gawa/river    But because the rock is so small which was moved down by water current at the time of the Muroto-taihuu/typhoon, I think that it is not the legendary rock    Mr. Kobayashi who is descendants of the Kamo-Jyuusan-ryuu “the 13 family strains of Iga clan  in Kamgawa area” told me that 「Hachiman killed himself by Harakiri on the large rock near the top of Morikiyo-yama/mountain and fell to the foot of the mountain on the other side of the Toyooka-gawa at near 1895 Komori-Mitunobu as if to slide off the mountain surface　Because the villagers were unfaithful about Hachiman's death, they stood a temporary Hachiman's tomb there and, they reburied on near the Harakiri-iwa later, made a small shrine arranged with stones on the place later and enshrined his spirit    A horse with a warrior on the back stumbled over a large rock, the horse fell with its rider and were killed them together in the battle at this time    The rock is buried in half as if it stuck diagonally on the back of the parking lot in front of Komori-Onsen-ryokan/hotel    It is different from this time, but there was a skirmish in Hachiman,-buti and several people were died    A another villager told me that 「After Hatiman performed Harakiri on Harakiri-iwa which is slightly below the top of the mountain where are Toyooka-gawa's side from the tomb of Tarou Hatiman, because he was flustered,  slipped down the mountain surface sitting on a tatami mat which made into a sleigh shape」    I guess from the list of characters, in addition, because Tarou Hachiman killed himself in the castle instead of in front of the enemy camp, that「because he was in disapproval the order of Iga Hisataka in Kamigamo-gassen/ battle in the 8th year of Tensho “1580” that abandon all the castles, and come together both the people and the soldiers to Kokura, Tarou Hatiman who had insisted on do-or-die resistance , performed Harakiri for the purpose of protesting」　伊賀修理・伊賀修理亮：加茂川町の山城では、久隆の曽父とされますが、伊賀久隆の祖父は伊賀兵庫行隆（伊賀兵庫頭）で、修理はその弟です。虎倉城を建設 しました。鍋山城城主でもあります。  菱川与九郎：菱川右京亮勝行の二男で、小森城城主です 父や兄の百坂城城主 菱川与兵衛に引けを取らない勇士でした    八幡淵：北緯34度55分6秒・東経133度47分56秒    腹切り岩：北緯３4度55分0秒・東経133度47分58秒   八幡の墓：北緯34度54分60秒・東経133度47分58秒    八幡の仮の墓：二川温泉旅館駐車場の奥の広場 北緯34度55分3秒・東経１33度47分60秒    馬の躓き岩：北緯34度55分4秒・東経133度47分60秒    城山上：小森1８・２６・２７・４３番地   城山下:小森２８－３２・３７－４１・４７・４８・５０・５２番地   森清：小森５６・５７番地       平成２３年（２０１１年）７月１４日
